Our Company

Rooted in more than 20 years of membrane research, Aqualung Carbon Capture is building the next generation of carbon capture. Together with leading industrial partners, our scientists, engineers and specialists are taking the technology from pilot to commercial production to make carbon capture affordable for every emitter.

Our mission

Our mission is to make carbon capture practical and affordable for every emitter, including the industrial emitters that conventional technology leaves behind.

We are committed to delivering a safe, absorbent-free and highly compact membrane capture system for industrial flue gas and biogas, helping emitters decarbonize faster and at lower cost.

We strive to be a driving force in the energy transition: capturing CO₂ that would otherwise be hard to abate, deploying our units at industrial scale, and offering industrial emitters a complete, end-to-end solution.

Our offering

Industry and heavy transport are the lifeblood of modern civilization. There is not just a need, but a desire from asset owners and operators to decarbonize and move towards sustainable business models. The value of capturing greenhouse gas emissions is growing rapidly, creating strong economic incentives to deploy solutions.

The problem: green energy sources are expensive, where they are available at all. The capital costs to develop them are a large burden for society, particularly compared with existing fossil fuel infrastructure, and materials and transportation costs ultimately fall on consumers. Carbon capture is the only solution that allows existing energy infrastructure to be used while practically eliminating carbon emissions across the transportation, industrial and energy markets.

Aqualung Carbon Capture is the solution where conventional carbon capture technology is unfeasible. There are no toxic additives and no need for expensive facility redesign. The capture units will be scalable modular solutions with Aqualung Carbon Capture’s patented membrane technology at the heart of the process. Retrofitting our units onto existing brownfield sites will aggregate clusters of industrial emitters, improving the economics for all participants.
