Standard Lithium Initiates Arkansas Carbon Capture Project Together with Aqualung Carbon Capture and Mission Creek Resources

Oslo, Norway – September 17th, 2021 – Aqualung Carbon Capture AS (“Aqualung” or the “Company”), a carbon capture technology and project development company, announced that it is providing a pilot unit to be deployed in southern Arkansas to validate the project potential.  The pilot project will be undertaken by Standard Lithium Ltd. (“Standard Lithium”), an innovative technology and lithium project development company, and will be installed at a natural gas processing site in southern Arkansas owned and operated by Mission Creek Resources LLC (“Mission Creek”).

Aqualung wants to thank Standard Lithium for initiating and funding this project and Mission Creek for partnering.  This partnership has the potential to provide the first low-carbon lithium chemicals into the North American battery supply chain and Aqualung couldn’t be more excited to be involved.

Aqualung is currently commercialising our technology for carbon capture of flue gasses and has ongoing dialogue with leading companies within various sectors of industry. The need for carbon capture is increasing rapidly and Aqualung´s mission is to make this possible and economically viable where it is not so today. We look forward to sharing our development with the market going forward.
